Allocations manual

The purpose of the Allocations manual is to ensure that public housing assistance is provided in an equitable and efficient manner, with households most in need assisted first.

The Allocations Manual is to be used in conjunction with the Victorian Housing Register’s (the register) Eligibility policy framework and operational guidelines as well as other departmental manuals and operational guidelines.

Note: This manual is under review. A preliminary update has been issued to reflect the introduction of the Victorian Housing Register. For more information, see Victorian Housing Register policy and operational guidelines on the Funded Agency website, which outlines the overarching eligibility framework for social housing.
